At Blyton Ponds, we’ve worked hard to ensure all our residential park homes are the perfect mix of low-maintenance luxury that you’ll want to stay in forever.
Park homes are typically more cost-effective and simpler to maintain than brick and mortar houses. An appealing option if you’re looking to downsize or minimise outgoings without sacrificing style or comfort.
All our homes come fully furnished and equipped with white goods. The ideal option if you’re looking to be able to move in and enjoy your new home straight away. However, you can customise this if you wish.
All maintenance of the grounds and amenities at the park is taken care of by our onsite team, so you won’t need to lift a finger. We can even help you take care of the exterior of your home.
If security is a priority for you, then you’ll love the peace of mind that comes from living in a private, gated community where all the residents know one another.
There’s plenty of things to do on-site, you’ll never be short of ways to spend your days. Enjoy a spot of fishing at one of our private fishing ponds, dine al-fresco at our communal outdoor kitchen area and covered outdoor seating area, complete with BBQ, pizza oven and smoker.
There’s an annual charge of £3,000 per park home to cover all maintenance required on park. This includes pond maintenance, grass cutting, hedge trimming, streetlights and electric gates. But, as a purchase incentive, we’re waiving this charge until January 2024.
Anyone buying off plan can choose the colour of kitchen cabinets, worktops, curtains, carpets, and sofas. Generally, this is included in the cost quoted to you when buying, but there may be an extra charge for certain changes. You will be informed if this is the case.
All our new park homes are built to BS3632 (2015) and have a 10-year structural and chassis guarantee, in line with any new build home. The roof tiles have a life expectancy of 40 years, and, if well maintained, park homes have a life expectancy of approximately 50 years.
There is an electric gate for vehicle access at the entrance. Each park home has a separate intercom system to allow their guests to access to the site. The pedestrian gate at the entrance will be accessed via a pin number which all residents will be issued with.
The village of Blyton has a general store, Post Office, Chinese take-away and two pubs, one serving food at lunchtime and early evening. There is also an ice cream parlour with daytime café. There is a dentist in the village, doctors’ surgery either in Scotter, the next village (5 miles away). An hourly bus service takes you to either Gainsborough or Scunthorpe where there are transport links to Lincoln train station.
